Harley-Davidson® established the Harley Owners Group® in 1983 in response to a growing desire by Harley® riders for an organized way to share their passion and show their pride. By 1985, 49 local chapters had sprouted around the country, with a total membership of 60,000.  Today, more than a million members make H.O.G. the largest factory-sponsored motorcycle organization in the world, and it shows absolutely no signs of slowing down.

Ready to Join H.O.G.? Membership is only $45 a year. Before they begin the official "adoption" process, you'll need to have some information in front of you. Full members: Have your H-D® or Buell® VIN number handy.

Associate membership is designed by Harley-Davidson for the passenger or family member of a full   member.  Non-Harley motorcycle owners wanting to join a Harley Owners Group should talk with the  General Manager of the Harley-Davidson dealership sponsoring the chapter to begin working towards  trading up to a Harley-Davidson and a full  H.O.G.® membership. After all, H.O.G.® is a Harley Owners  Group. Associate family members or passengers are eligible to participate in all H.O.G. activities and events. The cost for a one year Associate membership is currently $25, two years is $45 and three years is $65.
